Shown is a selection of our handcrafted leather gun belts. We have chosen these as our 'standard' designs. We can produce your own design, replicas of any original rigs and even items such as carbine scabbards. Our leather workers are masters of their craft. These belts and holsters feature exquisite carving and tooling, but can be made plain as were many originals. We carry a small selection in stock but we find that most people prefer to have their order made up to their own requirements. Delivery time is usually three weeks. These are authentic copies of original holsters dating from around the mid 1850's, they are of a 'Slim Jim' style and are designed to be worn on a waist belt. You will see from the picture that the reverse of the holster is stamped with our makers name and also numbered, because each individual holster we make is unique. Totally hand made, linen stitching. Can be ordered as either Left or Right Hip Butt Forward in most colours. Black and Natural leather for Colt Army and Navy are usually in stock, all others to order only delivery 2-3 weeks.
Please note this type of holster does not fit the 1873 pattern Colt Peacemaker

Here is something a bit different for you! We have had a limited number of these made up all in the same Dark Tan colour, the belt is fully looped, the holster will accept a Colt Peacemaker or Sheriff. As you can see from the inset picture one end of the belt is left open to enable notes to be kept safely inside. These belts were common in the west. Please note there is only a limited selection of waist sizes for these belts.

Made exclusively for us by our principle leather maker 'Tom Stemson' in best bridle leather, the set includes 2 'Slim JIm' holsters which are inclined on the belt as were Wild Bill's originals. The holsters are designed to accept any 7,1/2" to 8" barrel length revolver but not the Peacemaker or any 1873 Colt model.

Here is a holster and belt for the dedicated gunman, it is designed to accept the Colt Sherriff or Colt 1873 Peacemaker, it is fitted with a hammer support to ensure that the pistol does not fall out of the holster when not being used and the design is based on museum examples. Shown here with a 'Slim Jim Belt' that has had edge tooling carried out on it, this combination makes for a great surprise weapon!
