This is a period correct design and is most popular for everyday wear, It is a one piece dress and is sold to order only in the fabric shown (light grey and black check made from lightweight wool flannel) or it can be special ordered in a wide variety of fabrics.
Not shown but supplied with the dress are detachable cuffs which are worn under the sleeves and attach at the elbow. The undersleeve is made from 100% white cotton.
Hoops can be ordered separately, this dress is designed to be worn with our 90" hoop.

This fabulous "Off the Shoulder" dress was copied by us from an original pattern of the period, it is made from a quality silk taffeta.
The bodice is effectively a corset which is heavily boned and laces up at the back it is edged with lace as is the edge of the skirt which also features decorative panels to the front and rear.
We recommend that you come to the shop for measuring and a fitting which is included in the price.

A common style for the 1860's the outfit comprises a sleeved bolero style jacket with a decorative clasp closure, a plain white blouse and a 120+" circumference skirt, we make these in a variety of colors in 100% plain cotton with contrasting decorative trim. The jacket is fully lined.
